Question Posted Monday January 22 2007, 10:21 pm

i was talking on my cell to a boy i'm not allowed to date (but am dating anyway) and my parents now have the call records and i'm afraid they're going to call him, and find out i've been seeing him against their wishes. should i tell the truth (and end up grounded until i'm 60) or say it's someone else? i have no clue what to do next? help!

TELL THEM THE TRUTH
I learned the hard way many time and trust me it is the only thing to do
I'm sure if you lie to them about this you've lied before about other things and been caught right?
don't you think things turn out easier for you when you tell the truth then when you lie?

Either tell the truth, or warn your friend & tell him to say that you had a question about homework or whatever.

Tell your friend that if they (your parents) call him, either to not answer, or just tell them that he is a friend and yall two just talk on the cell. Its no big deal. If you tell them.. you might be jumping the gun, and confessing to them something that they werent even worried about. Thats like confessing to a vrime when no one thought it was you. Just relax, and see what happens next.. but dont turn yourself in!

Before they can call and find out what's going on tell them the truth, not only will it make you feel releived but it will gain you their trust. If after that the still don't want you to see him press the fact to your parents that you will see him no matter what, whether it be at school or the town social they can't stop you (they can't watch you 24 hours a day). Once they see that you won't give up on him they should understand that its your desicion and not theirs.
Hope I could help o^-^o

Call recordings? Are you positive? If you and you "boyfriend" are not going to movies, dinner, ect. then, in my opinion, it's not dating. So if your parents find out you have a boyfriend they probibly wont care as long as you tell them that you havent gone to the movies, dinner, bed, ect. They will probibly be okay with it, if not then your probiblt in to deep. (Let your parents find out that way you wont have the uncomterbel *bad grammer* feeling. Trust me.
Hope it helped
