snacks? When I get home from school, all I do is eat. But I want to stop doing that because I want to lose 10 pounds. So what are some HEALTHY snacks that are still good to eat? Thanks. :]

maybe you should find a hobby to distract you.....but granola bars,fruit snacks,muffins,peanut butter and jelly,smoothies,yogurts,parfaits,jello.vegetables fruits. celery burns calories and is good dipped in peanut butter,you could also get a veggie or fruit dip to dip them in.also you dont nescessarily have to stop eating the foods you like just cut down on the proportions.orderbs are good.you also invest in a healthy cook book. ]
Omg I do That All THe time...What i Suggest Is To Eat Light Things..Rice Krispys And Other Cerials Are Great, And if You Add Milk To THem Thats fine As Well Because Milk Is Good For You, Try Watermelons And Fruits, Or Make A Smoothie, There Are A Million Easy Ways to make Smoothies and they have tasteless Protien Powder You can Put In It As Well, Just To Be A Little Healthy If You Want Ice Cream In It. There Are So Many Thing you Can Do, so Try Them All. ]
Fruits. Vegatables. Anything with small amounts of calories/fat. Read the nutrition tables. Basically, you can stick to the foods you already may be eating, but do it in moderation.

It is proven that snacking is a very healthy thing, and it keeps your metabolism going. So that you have right, but yes, I do suggest eating healthy snacks. Here are some healthy snacks, that I think would be great for you:
1. Fruits (Apples, Grapes, Oranges, Grapefruit, Cherries, etc.)
2. Vegetables (Carrots, Broccoli, Spinach, Tomatoes, Lettuce, etc.)
3. Yogurt (Any kind will do, just make sure you're getting the fat free kind.)
4. Special K (Their cereal can be used as a great healthy snack, or a meal. And they have a few different kinds to chose from.)
5. Special K Bars (I myself, eat some junk food, but I can tell you that these are delicious and healthy.) ]
eat after school. but as u said healthy. of course fruits and veggies, but when you get home u are most likey not going to want to go into the fridge and cut up an apple or anything. so before school cut up some celery and put peanutbutter on them (small), carrots with ranch, cut up apples, etc. and make sure they are small bite size pieces and then put them in a container and put them in the fridge. when you get home, your snack is ready!! and HEALTHYY ]
You SHOULD eat after school!!!! But eat healthy!!!! www.mypyramid.gov is a great website about eating healthy. Maybe you can eat sliced apples with peanut butter?(check oon the back of the peanut butter, it should not have corn syrup because that is fatning.) Try eating tuna or grilled things. But before you eat anything, you should look in the back for how many calories it has. On an average, a girl should eat 2000 calories a day and a boy 2500! But on that website there is a calculator that calculates how many calories you should eat a day according to the amount of exercise you do, how old u are, etc...
