But now it's possible to tell which files look dodgy by the size.
Look at it this way, millions of other people use it, so you shouldn't worry too much.
and yes it can slow down your computer, especially if it's slow already and you are running Limewire along with multiple other programs.
bitterxsweet answered Sunday January 21 2007, 6:12 pm: - ive heard its very easy to get a virus from it, but ive never gotten one. if you have virus checking systems on your computer, they'll catch pretty much all of them. also, always be sure to disconnect limewire when youre not using it. even if you still have it open to listen to music or something, disconnect. that way, no one can get into your files.
- of course downloading is illegal, but ive never heard of anyone gettin in trouble from limewire.

-nobody gets in trouble i have never heard of that even thouh it is ilegal so many people do it they cant stop it.
-It will slow down your computer depends on how new it is depends on how slow it will go.
and fyi, some computers it doesnt even work on, it would work on mine. I have morpheus and its really good.
