7.5 months
every $10 you earn by a job is another week less

Good for you for learning responsibility at such a young age! A pat on the back to you from afar!

Well, if you save all of your money you earn and not spend it, it is a simple math equation.

$320 divided by $10 per week = 32 weeks. Since you will get paid $20 for the wall paper job, that makes 2 less weeks you have to save your allowance, making it 30 weeks. 30 weeks divided by 4 weeks per month = 7.5 months.

So your answer is 7 and 1/2 months of saving.

If you can do more odd jobs in the future, every $10 you earn doing them is one less week you have to save. However, for every $10 you spend you have to save for one more week.

Hope that was educational and not confusing. :)

Well you could try getting a babysitting job and get payed by the hour, if it snows near you, you can offer to shovel people's driveways for a fee of ten dollars, and do other things around the town. Hope this works!
