MummuM answered Friday January 19 2007, 1:47 pm: It's probably expired if it smells like that. When your make-up has a funny smell to it, it's usually bad. I suggest not using it anymore and getting some new powder. [ MummuM's advice column | Ask MummuM A Question ]
holadoodle33 answered Thursday January 18 2007, 7:21 pm: It may justbe the way that product smells, but I'm guessing not. It was probably in the store a while before you bought it and is expired. I suggest tossing it and getting a new one so that it doesn't cause any skin-irritation.
good luck! :) [ holadoodle33's advice column | Ask holadoodle33 A Question ]
ILoveQueen answered Thursday January 18 2007, 10:28 am: It might be aging. I remember using a powder, an it gave off that disgusting smell....But remember, a lot of cosmetics proucts and facial things contain "sulfur" an sulfur gives off the smell of rancid eggs. :S...It might be that. OR your powder's just old. If it's more than halfway done anyways...you should get a new one ( I think ) . :D [ ILoveQueen's advice column | Ask ILoveQueen A Question ]
TARAfying answered Thursday January 18 2007, 8:29 am: Some foundations, powders, etc. have a naturally unpleasent smell. Any other reasons for the smell I'm unsure of. I know this probably isn't the answer you're looking for... But I'd say buy a new product. Try a different brand, or if you really like the way this powder works.. buy another of the same kind. I hope things work better this time around! [ TARAfying's advice column | Ask TARAfying A Question ]
bLue_in_tHe_faCe answered Thursday January 18 2007, 8:14 am: Ick, one of my coverups smells bad too. I think its really old? Maybe its just the aging that kind ofmake it smell like that. I'd say buy a new one if you hate the smell, or when you put it on, try puting on a lotion for your face that doesn't smell bad (note: not all lotions/creams are for your face so watch out). Or just spray some purfume over yourself to try and cover up the egg sent. [ bLue_in_tHe_faCe's advice column | Ask bLue_in_tHe_faCe A Question ]
