Yes, the very dreaded midterms. My suggestion is to make flashcards from the study guide(s) that your teacher gives you. If he/she doesn't give you one, make sure to take plenty of notes while in class. And keep those for future reference, and you can copy them for the flashcards.

You could invited some of your friends over, and give them the flashcards and they can ask you questions. That would be a more fun way, of studying for midterms.

Good luck!

oh boy. midterms, eh? i take french, and my advice is if the book you were assigned to has its own website, find it or search it, and that might be able to help. if it doesn't, ask for extra help with a teacher. it's my third year in french, so i don't have midterms because it is a two year course. but FRENCH IS EASY! if you study, of course.

mmm hmmm....Ah! The dreaded midterms :[...well...I've learned...that if your teacher gives you a study guide...you need to copy EVERYTHING from the study guide onto flashcards...if some things need rephrasing into sentences to help you more, then you should do just that - rephrase them. So, write questions on one side....and the answers on the other. Or, anyway that you find helpful to get the answers right and not have to guess as much. =]

However, if your teacher does NOT give you a study guide (which is SO unfair)...then you might want to take all of the notes given to you in class, and all the notes that you took, and transfer THEM to flashcards as well.

Then, after you have studied a bit, maybe you should meet up with your friends or something...and I dunno, form a study group? Have them test you....so it'll be like a practice test. :]

or...on the more "evil" side...ask someone who took the test before what it was about....*sinister laugh* lol j/k.

But anyways, I hope I've helped, and I hope you do well on your test. :)
