theymos answered Tuesday January 16 2007, 5:40 pm: Building a website requires a lot of work, time, and in some cases, money. I'm sure this site took months to build and costs hundreds of dollars each month to host. There are many ways to build a website. If you want a commercial website, you should hire someone. If it's a simple personal website, learn HTML and do it yourself. A site that changes, like this site or a forum requires PHP or ASP, which is complex, and takes months to learn. There is free hosting available, but if you want a very large site you might have to pay. If you want a domain(something.com), you'll have to pay. Attracting visitors to your site takes years, and only works if your site offers something that people want to look at. If you want, I'll make you a simple HTML site and show you how to host it. Ask me a personal question with exactly what you want on it. You can learn HTML, javascript, PHP, and ASP for yourself at [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
