do guys like to be "chased"?

This question is directed a little more twards guys, but girls are veryyyyy welcomed to answer as welL!
SO here goes.. I was wondering if guys like when girls "chase" them in a sence. Like if a girl goes out of her way to talk to you, or asks the guy for his screen name and starts talking to him? Or do guys like to "chase" the girls? Are they intimidated by a girl that shows interrest in them? If I go up to the guy that I like and ask him for his s/n will he get intimidated and think I'm too assertive? Any advice at all? Pleaseee help .lol thanks soooo muchhh. yes,i'm a guy,and guys like to be chased,i mean not in a harassing stalker way,but if a girl shows that she is willing to take the first steps in a relationship,it really is a turn on for guys.

i was talking to my best guy friend
and he said that he def. likes it when girls take charge and are independant.
and that it makes them seem more confident.
i usually get guys by talking to him alot and i.ming him and calling him. that gets him more interested in me. and then i dont have to end up asking him out. cuz ive gotten him to fall for me ;]
just be yourself, and dont be shy.
most guys can tell when youre shy, and when you are confindent, he feels less shy as well. cuz hes prob. nervous talking to you too!

It depends with every single guy, because every guy's going to have their own opinion. Some like to chase the girl and ask her out, ask for her number, etc. But some guys ( most guys ) do like it whenever the girl might ask for the guy's phone number for once or something.
Talking to them first or asking for a number shows that the girl has alot of confidence, not too much, but some which most girls usually don't have any confidence at all whenever it comes to guys and everything, and it's a nice little breather for them since they wouldn't have to do all the work.

I actually spoke to a guy about it today. Guys usually like it. They like to protect girls and if they like a girl and the girl tells them that they like them, they're over the moon. I also know a guy who, when an ugly girl walked up to him and handed him her phone number, decided that she was really hot.

Hmm. Well, I'm no dude. And I know nothing about how they think. But I don't like guys that I know I can have. It's like, I like a challenge. If I know I can get them right off the bat, then it's not very fun. and I haven't met a guy that has disagreed with my theory yet. ;) So, don't go crazy and make your life revolve around him, but there is nothing wrong with calling him once or twice every two weeks or so. Or talking to him at school when you see him. :)

I'm a girl, but just as anyone, I'm sure that they like to be chased...to a certain extent. Don't do it too much, for they may come to think of you as a stalker.
Don't go out of your way to talk to them. Just act CCC-Calm, cool, and collected.
Do ask him for his s/n if you want it, though.
But, when you talk to him, don't bother him, you know?
Do show interest if you like this kid, but not too too much.
