Growing Question

Question Posted Monday January 15 2007, 1:00 am

I am a 16-year old female, 118llbs, 5'3. I want to know how old I will be before I stop growing. I've had my period for about 3 years now. I've only grown an inch in those years and my breast seem to be getting smaller. Please leave me with some knowlegedable(SP) answers

I'm not sure but it's different for everyone. Sometimes it's 18 or 20.

You're not getting smaller unless you are losing weight.

There might be a chance to grow a bit more but try to be happy with what you have.

Hey,

You bascially will stop growing at the age of 17.

And don't worry! Your boobs can't be shrinking; that's really not possible unless you've been losing lots and lots of weight.

You really can't determine what age you will stop growing at. I can't even determine what age I will, myself. It always varies between your diet, any physical/mental conditions you have, and by your hormones. Your hormones can actually change at the very last minute, if your growing remains dormant, or if you have been growing for the past 10 years non-stop.

But I could assume since you have had your period awhile, and your height and weight sounds average, you could almost be done with growing. Just know that some girls do not stop growing until they get to 20 years old, compared to guys until they are 22. Some go longer; some go shorter.

Hope I helped =]
