Well, the one's I'VE used dry up your skin. they clear out oil and bacteria to help keep it clean. just some side advice: even if it SAYS you can use it every day, start out with once a week and work up to it, because your face(like any other part of your body) can get flakey. trust me, you don't want that. ;)

They open your pores and cleanse them, removing dirt and oil. Hope this helps! :)

It removes dead skin cells, it cleans out the dirt in your pores, it refreshes and smoothes the skin, and it gives your skin an even complexion.

But there are all kinds of facial masks for specific things, like there are ones out there for dry skin, acne & blemishes, and for uneven complexion, but generally they do those kinds of things.
