Iam a girl, and i am 12 years old. Ok, so there is a certain girl, my ex-friend. Lets just call her girl 1. Then there is my best friend. Lets call her girl 2. Me and girl 2 have been friends for 8 years, and now girl 1 is in the picture. I was friends with girl 1 at first, but then I found out the things she said about me behind my back. Here's the problem , though. Girl 2 is still one of girl 1's best friends!!! What can I do to change that, and still maintain my moral fiber?

Teza answered Sunday January 14 2007, 6:13 pm: You shouldn't do anything to change that. Your best friend can be friends with anyone she wants to and just because you & girl 1 aren't friends anymore, doesn't mean your best friend shouldn't eather. If you would do that, then you're just being selfish. This whole "She said/he said" drama is so over rated. Do you for a fact know that she was saying stuff about you? It's unecesary drama that you guys are dealing with. Get over it and start over fresh. You guys don't have to become the best of friends but put the stupid arguments aside. illdomybest answered Sunday January 14 2007, 6:12 pm: you shouldnt do anything.just because you dont like her doesnt mean someone else cant be her friends. i have people who absolutely cant stand for legitamate reasons that are friends with my really close friends even though i know that person is a rat i just leave it alone and figure their true colors will come out eventually. i just dont hang around that person. so just leave their relationship alone. and focus on you and your best friends relationship. stress that when you two hang out you dont want to hang out with the other girl.a good friend would understand that. because no one wants to be forced to be around someone they dont like and they shouldnt have to be not every one clicks its just the way it works out. if you decide to try to ruin their friendship your going to be declared the bad guy and you might lose her friendship in the end so just leave it alone. idgurl572 answered Sunday January 14 2007, 6:11 pm: My advice is to tell "friend 2" how you feel about friend 1, and how you feel that she still hangs out with her. Don't come about as that you, feel they should stop being friends this instant, but tell her what would you do if you were in her sitituation. Like if she was you and friend 1 was saying stuff about her behind her back, ask her what would she want you to do. Get it? Well I hope everything works out in the end [ idgurl572's advice column | Ask idgurl572 A Question ]
ductape_n_roses answered Sunday January 14 2007, 6:10 pm: Well, they're friends. Trying to break up a friendship just because you don't like the other girl is a pretty bitchy thing to do.
Just have girl 2 promise not to get swept into girl 1's "talks" about you anytime soon.
