Im a 14 year old girl and im 147lbs and about 5'0 nd im trying to lose around 20lbs before febuary 20th because im going to florida and i want to look decent in a bathing suit so i dont feel self-concious.any suggestions on how i can do it? right now im running on my tredmill a mile a day and trying to watch what i eat but i dont see any results.any ideas?
Alli answered Tuesday January 9 2007, 8:50 pm: On your tredmill you probably run with like a sports bra and some shorts...thats not the right thingt to wear if you wanna lose wight because youa re not persperating enough next time you run wear sweats and a sweat shirtthen you will sweat ALOT and lose at least 1 1/2 pounds a day!!

Addicted2Life answered Tuesday January 9 2007, 5:46 pm: losing weight takes time! and i' sorry to say that you probably won't be able to meet your deadline :( but try some excercises targeting your "trouble zones" and you might see faster results. oh, and you probably need AT LEAST 1 hour of cardiovascular excercise (excercises that get your heart rate up ex running, swimming, jumping rope) to keep fit. runawayxlove answered Tuesday January 9 2007, 5:37 pm: hey, well you said your eating heathly so thats going in the right direction. maybe you could join a gym with a friend. i find that if you excerixe with a friend that you will get more done because you dont want to look weak in front of your friend. crunches are the most important thing. it will help you tone up.
