13 female.
I was at my friend's house [19 male] with a bunch of different friends. He asked his other friend [21 male] if mammoths were during human age or before us. Brian said before us. I'm a christian, but that day i had just taken a class in history about all the animals BEFORE us [public school].
Brian said "yes." [remember i was super tired] and i was like "...are you serious?" and they are were like "haha you are so dumb" [they were just kidding] but i had nothing to say so i turned around cuz i'm shy.
what would be either a good thing to say or a good comeback to if you say something wrong and people make fun of you for future use?

I think that's rather dumb for them to make fun of you, but you'll sound even stupider if you say something gay like "your mom" or something. You'll just add to the embarrassment. Just laugh it off and make fun of yourself. Everybody says dumb things once in awhile, so don't sweat it. :) [ opinionated06's advice column | Ask opinionated06 A Question ]

Don't sink to their level. In a battle of insults and comebacks, you're likely to get the short end of the stick; partly because you're outnumbered, and partly because they've been through high school and they have more experience with that kind of fencing. Anything you do say that actually gets through their thick skulls will likely be answered with something like, "Shut up, stupid kid." Unless you call that a victory, you can't win. Frankly, these guys sound like dicks, and if I were you I wouldn't care much about their opinions.
Oh, and by the way... the fossil record shows that the first mammoths pre-dated the first humans, but that we co-existed for a time before the mammoths went extinct (likely due to climate change when the Earth warmed up following the last major Ice Age). They existed before us AND during the human age. Modern elephants are descended from a common ancestor to the mammoth. [ Xenolan's advice column | Ask Xenolan A Question ]
