Patterned Scarves.
Colored Jeans [purple, baby blue, red].
Zoo York Shirts.
Metallic Flats.

Just to name a few. Look at the website below for a lot more.

As the first columnist said, whatever you feel comfortable in and whatever you feel looks good on you and is cute, then go ahead and wear it.

Vidal Sassoon once said this: "Fashion and Style are diametrically opposed." I think we can accept that he's something of an expert on the subject. Why worry about what's in RIGHT NOW - that is, what's fashionable? It'll be unfashionable tomorrow.

True style is timeless. Only those who have no taste of their own go in for what's in "style" right now. Find something what works for you and always will, not what fashion dictates for the current five minutes.

Rather than trying to keep up with every single trend that's going on right now (which is nearly impossible!) try buying some classic pieces that will carry you through multiple seasons, and pair them with some trendy items.

Boot-cut jeans, plain t-shirts and tank tops and sweaters are all great items to have. Combine them with what's suggested by the others (unfortunately I'm a bit out of the style loop) and you'll have a more trendy look :)

From someone who works at a clothing store I can tell you everything in style.

SHOES:
Flats but not sparkley or metallic. Solid colors that are vibrant like reds and also blacks.
Slip Ons such as Vans or Keds.

HAIR:
Long layers.
Straight bangs (to the eyebrow) or side bangs.
Or just parted down the middle and wavy.

TOPS:
Long sweaters with deep V's.
Layers on layers on layers.
Vest like shirts/corsets.
Printed tee shirts. (not monkeys but something classy.)

PANTS:
Straight leg jeans.
Skinny jeans, zippers on the bottoms are plus.
Plaid shorts or to the knee/crap pants. Work style.

JACKETS:
Stay away from cropped ones.
Try more solid colors and darker like blacks, greys, browns, and navys.
Coats- thick collared and to the croch area.

long lace shirts, cropped jackets, big cute winter jackets, fur boots....(skinny jeans are kinda out, but you can wear them with the boots) Pull overs, ballet shoes, something modest that doesn't show too much cleavage...actually. POLKA DOT shirts are totally in..you'll see them EVERYWHERE!
But remember, just where what you feel comfortable in, and what's in style now won't last for long because something new is always gonna pop up....like next season..but you got a while.
