If you think about it they are probably eating and not finishing the whole plate and eating frequently, which aides in naturally metabolizing your fat storages in your body,,, try it and be patient because losing weight slowly, means keeping it away and staying slim for life. Try not to eat after 8 pm so that you wont store fat while you are sleep. and really, drink 6 to 10 glasses of water a day. Sodas are very fattening. limit sodas to diet only or none at all. good luck and stay away from junk food.only use them for rewards every other weekend or something like that.your veggies can just be a side dish of baked beans or green beans or just slices of tomatoes and lettuce added to your sandwich or diced onions and peppers added to an omlet. be creative.I am pulling for you!!!!!!!!!! solidadvice4teens answered Wednesday January 3 2007, 7:24 pm: Great question! The only way to get a diet that suits your physical and health needs that contains enough of the things you like to eat is to see your doctor. He/she will figure out what you should weigh based on your height and then let you talk with a nutritionist that will chart your progress and give you healthy choices for eating.
Contrary to what you may have thought just because you are on a diet does not mean you cannot still have your cake and icecream too. The nutritionist needs to teach you about proper portions. You can eat all the stuff you like but it's about proper portions and moderation which they will teach you.
Also, I must stress this to you or anyone else reading to NEVER start dieting without the assistance of your doctor who will know what is safe for you. In some cases you may be at the weight you should be and dieting could put you under that "safe" weight and cause health issues. peebles7 answered Wednesday January 3 2007, 7:07 pm: someone else gave this advice-but it's good, i've tried it. do the special K diet. two bowls a day, and then one regular meal. I tried it once, but it didn't work too well for me cuz i don't like cereal, lol. but i know people it has worked for.
but on a sidenote-even if you don't like vegetables, you really need the vitamins and nutrients in them, it's not just about weight and how you look, vegetables help fight against disease and make you healthy, without them you won't live as long. So i suggest just going to the supermarket and trying as many vegetables as possible! just a bite, don't force yourself to eat something gross, but try to find something you can eat. Maybe spaghetti squash? if you put tomato sauce on it, it really tastes like pasta! also try tomatoes and green beans, and keep eating lots of fruit.
