*This is one of the reasons, you're not supposed to pick a acne. But luckily, there's an easy and fast result to this problem -- apply lotion two times, daily. I recommend, Olay Quench Body Lotion for Sensitive Skin. This will work very well on your scab, and it should go away within a week or at the most two. Since this is for sensitive skin, it will continue to work, while not infecting your scab (as some lotions will).
Also, do not pick this scab or any acne you have. Picking at acne, will result in these scabs and cause even more acne. Picking at the scab, will only make it worse and infect it. ]
Okay you can pick it off but will probably make it bleed or it will make another scab come on and it really hurts. Its also wasn't the best idea to pick at it. You can cover it up with make up too. It helps. You can leave the scab there and wait for it to come off leaving nothing. It will take a couple days though. So thoughs are some choices and to avoid getting those again wash your face everyday with hot water to avoid it from getting greasy and all and soon your face will be clear. I did that everyday and now my face it clear. ]
If you have a newly formed scab and you pick it, another one will form. Wait a few days until it's completley dry, then you can probably peel it off. It's best to just let it do its own thing though. Putting makeup over it probably isn't the smartest thing to do, but if you're really self conscious about it, go ahead. ]
You have 4 things to choose from.
1) Wait a few days and leave it and allow it to fall off given time.
2) Be impatient and pull it off. However, this may result in another scab forming so is it worth the risk?
3) Attempt to cover up the scab with makeup.
4) (my favourite) soak the scab with hot water (not boiling!) about twice a day to gently lift it without irritating it and pulling it off causing it to bleed.
Numbers 2,3 and 4 seem wise ;]
Best of luck! and happy holidays ]
well, first off, popping pimples and such isnt' the best for your face. I do it, and its horrible, but it actually makes them last longer, so in the future, if you're able to refrain, just keep washing your face and it should go away soon. as far as right now, i doubt that if you pick off the scab it will get any better. Its good to just leave it alone. You can always put some concealor or some other thing on it so its less noticeable and now that its a scab, neosporin is a good option, but i think its best to just leave it alone right now.
Hope I helped.
