ello. i need to write an essay on anything i want. but the problem is i am drawing blanks on ideas. i prefer to write about important topics. in the past i have written about controversial topics and i am good once i actually have a topic. do y'all have any ideas at all? thanx for any help:)

As a fellow writer, I suggest going w/ your feeling or intuition on this one. Choose something that holds interest and save your nerves from being shot. Just think of events happening right now, or somehthing that happened in your life recently. If it was something bad change it so the outcome is good. Those will make great essays.

Third World debt

Pollution (air, sea, land)

Destruction of the rain forests

Illiteracy

Corporate ethics (keeping farmers in poverty by not giving them a fair percentage of profits from crop sales, eg. coffee, cocoa beans)

Sweat shops that make cheap clothes for the Western World by keeping their workers on the poverty line

George Bush!

Iraq

Gun laws

Child prostitution

Whaling
