Question Posted Saturday December 23 2006, 2:41 am

Okay, so I have a Nokia 6101 and I have no idea how to transfer the pictures in my phone to my computer. Also, I have no idea how to or where to get themes for my phone.....

Please help me figure things out because I'm not a born techie!!!!!

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

Here is a link to the place to download the software you need for your phone to computer hookup:

... and here is the FAQ for that:

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

... which should help you get everything taken care of.

Here is the user's guide (manual) for the Nokia 6101:

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

... which will walk you through the hook-up.

I found this in the FAQ for another similar model:

"Install the PC suite provided in the CD Rom of the sales package. Connect the phone via data cable/Infrared/ Bluetooth. The phone will be detected. You can use "Image Store" option in pc suite and transfer your images to PC."

Here is the product page for the Nokia 6101 phone:

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

... which has a flash TUTORIAL for doing just about everything with your phone, except transferring pictures.

It does show you how to connect the phone to your computer, however, which is half the battle. :-)

I hope you enjoy your new phone, and if you do the tutorial thing for your Nokia SmartPhone, you will really master all of the nice features it has.

Good luck,

DN.

Just email your pictures from your phone to your email address, then save the pictures from the email to My Pictures. In my opinion, this is the easiest way, but it isn't free =] Hope I helped

did it come with a cable? if so, just plug it in, install the included software, click my computer, and it should be there somewhere.

if not, your best bet is emailing it from your phone. this will cost a buck or two, unless you have a data plan

there might be an easier way, but you can email the pictures from your phone to your computer(at least most phones can).

Just do a google search for themes, there's a bunch: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
