I got a tetanus shot yesterday. It still really hurts, so I was just wondering how long it will hurt (I was only 4 when I got the last one, so I don't remember) Also, what should I do to make it feel better? Would painkillers help? Thanks =]

xWACKYJACKIEx answered Friday December 22 2006, 12:44 pm: The answers below pretty much answer your question. But when I get a shot ( I'm extremly terrifeid of needles!! ) it only hurts for about 2 days. So, It will probably be better after today.
Yes, Painkilers will help. But make sure you don't take to many. Don't bump it on anything, and try not to sleep on it!! Or move it to much.
LagunaBabe answered Friday December 22 2006, 12:15 pm: It will hurt for a few day, and sometimes up to a week, that's how mine worked. But, they recommended Motrin and it did help, so I definitely recommend takin Motrin, and it will make the pain pretty much go away. [ LagunaBabe's advice column | Ask LagunaBabe A Question ]
brokenheart456 answered Friday December 22 2006, 12:12 pm: i got the tetnus shot before 7th grade (a year ago) and it did hurt for a couple days or so. painkillers should work, and move carefully, and try not to bump it on anything, because that will hurt.
hope i helped <3
