Question Posted Sunday December 17 2006, 7:48 pm

i have really frizzy, pouffy hair and I usually straighten my hair to go to school every day. But it never stays straight! Not even for like an hour after Istraighten it..and I have a Chi which is supposed to be really good. My question is how do I keep my hair straight all day?

OOO dont you hate that!!!! i had REALY REALLY frizzy and curly hair that would never stay straight. so for my birthday i asked my rents for one thing...a straight perm. yeah they are kind of expensive but well worth it!!! and if your lazy like me and dont feel like getting up really early to re straighten your hair after the night before when you straightened it...wrap it. it works. and the straight perm is really great.

Get a new hair straightner.. and use hair spray.. or moose also.. but its easier and cheaper if you get your hair permed.. it'll stay permenant for a whole year.

you could use a straightening gel in your hair. this will help it stay longer. or you can do what i do. my hair is the same way but mine can stay straight. i put hairspray through my hair as i straighten it. i dont spray on it. i spay aroun it and it holds it in place.

what i do is take a shower in the evening and put it up in a ponytail. after its mostly dry, i straighten it and then sleep on it. durng the night it flattens out a little (you can always touch up) and the natural oils flatten it too and then it's ready to go the next morning. that works for me so try it and see if it does for you too. <3

i dont know if you do it now, but straighten your hair in layers.. which makes it really straight. i have naturally staright hair, but most of my friends use biosilk, like you put very little in your hair and it keeps it not frizzy all day and it smells good.. you can buy in anywhere really (CVS)but its a little pricey.. like $12 for a small bottle.. but it works really well!
hope i helped

Your hair may be really dry so buy like conditioner&& shampoo that like gives it nutrients- it should say it's for dry hair. Right before you straighten it you should put this spray in it to reduce the burning so it won't dry out. It's in the hair product aisle... it will say it's for straightening hair.

*Hope I Helped*
