Question Posted Wednesday December 13 2006, 7:23 pm
I got my period for the first time in May. Since then I've only gotten it 3 times, and I'm still irregular. But whenever I get my period, I become sort of...disgusted with myself. The thought of blood coming out of my body disgusts me, and sometimes I see the little things of blood and I actually throw up. What should I do to become more comfortable with my body during this time?

They can help you with the transaction. It is very difficult to get used to, but you will eventually. Another thing you can do is have your mom take you to the doctor and ask them a few questions. It always helps to know exactly what is going on with your body when you are expierencing new things like this. [ xx2momma2xx's advice column | Ask xx2momma2xx A Question ]

If you don't think about it in the wrong way trust me it won't come out the wrong way. You should just think like you think while you are on top of the toilet. You never think about what you are doing when you are on top of the toillet you just go. I know this sounds stupid, but believe it or not. periods come and go. stupid comes stupid goes. and relax now you can be called a woooo-man sing your song with prde, gurl. Good luck, and I hope I have helped [ Luvsingin201's advice column | Ask Luvsingin201 A Question ]

I have read your problem and i completely understand what your going through, cause when i got my period, i went through all this for the first whole year. So you see, its just normal, nothings wrong about it, i don't want you to worry. Its just because this whole situation is new to you and the feeling is really strange and all, but believe me later on you will get used to it and you will learn how to cope with it.
so cheer up and try to think of what i said.
