As for undamaging your hair, I agree with basically everyone that have already answered this question. What I do is, in the shower, I shampoo, rinse, and then repeat. Then, I use conditioner, leave that in for about 5 minutes, and then rinse it out. Then, I have something called "Citre Shine" Shine mist spray laminator. This both smoothes and shines my hair, and leaves it soo soft. And then, I blow dry/straighten my hair.

The straightener that I use is called Corioliss. It is 100% ceramic & works great.

Hope I helped.

As far as damage control, I would suggest a good shampoo & conditioner, such as Herbal Essences Totally Twisted. This will also help your curls be managable, if you would like to wear your hair naturally curly. If not, a good heat tamer will help you a lot with damage, because it prevents the damage. I recommend Tresemme Instant Heat Tamer Styling Spray.

A good hair straightener that cost about $100, is [Link](Mouse over link to see full location);.

WEll. there are tons of products that you can you.

what i do is this.
1.take a shower and use that pink sunsilk stuff for dry hair. when you use the conditioner...leave it in for like 5 mins.
2. i have brown hair so i use brilliant burnette straightening balm because it makes my hair easier to blow dry my hair straight.
3. take a flat brush and get your hair completely dry but straighten it as much as you can while you are drying it
4. if you have done things right your hair should be kinda straight, but maybe kinda frizzy and poofy, so just straigthen it to reduce that...and you can you a heat protectant like....herbal essences..it smells really good too!

good luck :)

you can't really "undamage" your hair but you can help protect it. you could buy a shampoo that will help protect your hair & before you straighten your hair put on a straightening cream like loreal intense repair cream. you could probably find a product at your local salon.

i hope i helped =]

hey =)

well there are many hair products for damaged hair.
There are shampoos & Conditioners just for problem hair. I would go to soho in the city & buy a hair kit, but since i am unawhere of what your money stautes is & where you are located, i am unaware what stores are around you. You could always look on google & order online. If money is an issue, then i would say your best off getting Dove - the damaged hair kit.
Heres another good tip, trying putting vinegar in your hair while taking a shower & then wash it out with warm water. Not only does it make your hair shiny, it heals it. =)

About the straightner i would say corolas! it cost $100 but it works perfect! I hear conair is alright too. Its much cheaper though. 30 dollers or so.

if you need anything else just ask.
