15/f. i have a group of friends that i normally sit with at lunch but sometimes they can be really rude to me. like if one day i sit with someone else, then the next day they will be mad a me because i didn't sit with them. like i have some other friends besides them and they get mad if i don't sit with them.
for example at a school fundraiser last year, i talked with another group besides mine for a little and then my whole group was pissed at me and wouldn't talk to me the rest of the day.
why is this? and what can i do to stop them getting mad at me?

The next time they try to make you feel guilty for sitting with someone else walk away and find another friend who doesn't treat you this way. If these people were real friends they would understand that you are allowed to have other interests and friends. I went through something very similar in highschool. One of my friends got really jealous because another girl started hanging out with me. It turned out this new girl became a way better friend to me and the other friend was backstabbing me. Also find friends that make you feel good about yourself and don't use you. Hope this helps! [ buzzie's advice column | Ask buzzie A Question ]

I had that too and I was so pissed off but I think if you don't want them to get mad they should let you go sit with whoever you whom to sit with. That is a bunch of bull. Try talking with them and say "Listen I want to sit with them and if your going to get mad at me then I think your really mot my true friends and if you are I will sit with you most of the time but sometimes I want to sit by my other friends because I have more friends than you guys even though you are my friends. Good luck to you! hope everything works out for you [ sammyk's advice column | Ask sammyk A Question ]
