For people who go to concerts (general admission) Alright, I'll be waiting in line for this concert for about five hours. I live in San Diego. It's still really cold here at this time. So I'll be waiting in line int he cold. However, once we start getting inside and jumping around on general admission and for those of you who go to rock concerts and knows how crazy and hot it gets...it's going to be the total opposite of the weather outside. Advice on what to wear??

bring along a little backpack or purse that you can wear on your back during the concert. that way you can wear a jacket (make sure it isn't your favorite jacket so that just in case you lose it you won't be too sad) while you're in line then put it in your backpack/purse during the concert. hope i helped! have fun at your concert =] ]
Me and my friend just recently waited in line for a concert and this is what we did:
We brought along semi-big bags ( which we just dealt with and held onto tightly during the concert so we didn't lose anything ; but maybe you could have someone you know drive to where the concert is if it's not too far and find you guys in line and take your bags as you're going inside ) but what we wore was a semi-warm shirt and jeans and everything, and we just packed inside our bags a nice little blanket that's easily foldable so it'd fit in our bags, and we also packed some gloves and maybe a beanie kind of hat just to keep our ears warm.
What I might suggest also doing is just start thinking of stuff, and keep having a conversation with your friend. Whenever you tend to have conversations with people who have thoughts continously, it can get your mind off of the cold and you'll seem to get warmer, and as the advicenator said below, thinking of math does help you keep warm also.
Also, before you leave, go to a starbucks or wherever you want to go and maybe purchase a couple of coffees or hot chocolate or something to last you a good while and then as you're going inside the concert place, you can just dispose of them, cause I'm sure they're going to have a garbage can SOMEWHERE inside the building.
I hope I helped. ]
Bring a bunch of hand warmers and put them in your gloves, hat, shoes, and armpits. Bring a light jacket you can put in your pocket, or a disposable poncho(or a few layers of ponchos). You can also cover up with those shiny emergency blanket things(they work in the dark). Jog in place if possible. If you're really getting cold, do math in your head, it raises your heart rate(which'll warm you up) and gets your mind off the cold. You could buy a propane-fueled handheld space heater, they aren't too expensive; you could leave it outside and hope no one steals it. ]
I'm also going to say layers also...or you could just grab an old sweatshirt...OLD or reallllly cheap and just wear that then do what ever with it when you get into the concert.
OR
you could always just bring a coat and then put it in a corner or a spot where you could keep it. [don't put it where people could take it & don't keep like money, wallet, w/e that u don't want stolen...]
hope that helped. ]
well now that you've cleared that up there's really nothing you can do except for rough it. unless of course you bring like some cheap blanket to wrap around you that you can through out before you get into the concert.
but other than that theres pretty much nuthin you can do. ]
