My bf.

Question Posted Sunday November 26 2006, 9:19 pm

14/f

Alright I have a bf and he's 17.
I really love him but we get into a lot of fights..
See when we talk on the phone he gets so distracted and doesn't even care what I say..
Especially when he's playing his annoying video games.
He's obsessed.
I get so pissed off at him because I feel like he never listens to me on the phone.
What should I do?

My ex was like that. I hate him now, but that's besides the point. Anyways, what I did, was kept pressing buttons on the phone. He said he'd hang up if I kept doing it, but I said "FINE, THEN TALK" And sometimes it worked.

i honestly would talk to him about it and tell him what you think and how you feel. and i wouldnt worry about the fighting becuz all relationships gt into fights. a guy should always listen to what you have to say. and if you talk to him and he is still doing this i would make the choice to break up with him or give it another try. if you love him like you say you do then keep trying. you should tell him school or when he is away from home and can really listen to what you have to say. so hes not distracted with anything and make sure he is looking in his eyes. that way you know he is concentrating and paying attention to you and nothing else so he can fully grasp what you are trying to say or try to keep it in a quiet area where its just you and him. well hope i helped and email me anytime for more questions.

Reminds me of my old boyfriend.
talk to him about it, if he really loved you then he would change. and if he doesn't change then i think you should move on, because you don't need a guy like that, guhh` you can find a better one trust me.

My boyfriend does that all the time, & it pisses me off because I'll be like, talking about something that I'm like REALLY excited about and the actual story itself will be really long and difficult to explain, and in the end he won't say anything & I'll be like "uh Collin?" & usually he doesn't answer & I'll have to like scream his name, & he'll be like OH SORRY I WAS PLAYING..blah blah. and it's just annoying.

Haha, I'm surprised to hear other girls have this problem. Usually whenever that happens to me, I'll tell a story, say COLLIN? And when he answers I'll be like, "I'm leaving.." & then he'll be like, OKAY! I won't say anything then, because he'll be like expecting me to say, "OKay I'll talk to you later." But then I wait for him to say something, and then usually he forgets and starts talking. haha.

You should try the, "I'm going to go then." Or something, because then he'll be like, "Wait, what just happened?" Because guys are gay like that. [:

Or just tell him how you feel. Like after you say something and he's distracted ask him, why he never listens to what you have to say on the phone?

Boys suck, haha. [: It's just natural, it's us girls that have to put them IN LINE!! <3 Good luck!!

Just don't talk to him on the phone and talk to him face to face. Ask him if he'd put aside the video games for a while just so that you guys can talk. Ask him if you're borig him or if he wants to talk about something else. And most of all, tell him to tell you if he wants a subject change or whatever. Tell him that if he doesn't listen, you'll just hang up on him---(if he doesn't want a subject change, say he's busy or whatever andjust tunes out for video games)
