heyok i got my eyebrows done yesterday. They used to be like thick and kinda screwed up but its now its thin.it looks really weird cause im not used to it. Anyways the skin above my eye is like swollen and it makes my eye look bloated. Is there anything I can do to make it un-swollen?? Thankss
LagunaBabe answered Thursday November 23 2006, 5:45 pm: They key to this is fortunatly, simply moisturizing. Apply lotion three times a day (morning, noon, night), and in a couple of weeks it should not be swollen, etc. [ LagunaBabe's advice column | Ask LagunaBabe A Question ]
amygwendoline answered Thursday November 23 2006, 4:25 pm: That happened to me, like I got my eyebrows done for a school dance like a big one, and I had this huge scab above my eyebrow, which started out as swollen. There isn't much you can do except moisturize it, and don't touch it like, try and rip it off or something because then it won't heal. It probably will only last three days, and after that you'll be able to hide it with make-up. :] [ amygwendoline's advice column | Ask amygwendoline A Question ]

This happens to some people, even after many times of getting them waxed. (I'm assuming they were waxed when you say you got them done.) Sometimes, depending where I get mine done or whether I wax them myself, that area swells or breaks out as well. It usually calms down after a few days (meaning 1 to 3, more for break-outs sometimes). You can cover it up with make-up to make it look better, but leaving it alone helps it heal faster sometimes.
