Question Posted Saturday November 18 2006, 2:56 pm
I have been growing my hair out so I can donate it to Locks of Love for over a year now. It is finally 10 inches from where i want it cut and I am excited about getting it cut. I want it about shoulder length. I need to get it thined out because my hair is really thick. Does anyone have any siggestions for the style and everything? I cant dye my hair by the way. Oh, and I have side swept bangs right now

LM answered Saturday November 18 2006, 3:45 pm: Maybe have your hairdresser cut in some layers. That way, it'll look really cute whether you style it or not, and it'll be easier to brush. This will also take out some of the "bulk" of thick hair. I strongly advise against getting it thnned, because I did that and it DESTROYED my hair. There's plenty of anti-frizz, anti-poof, shampoos (I can personally recommend Pantene Smooth and Sleek) that you can try before getting it thinned out.
& When you donate your hair, make sure you put it in a ponytail first!
