Like, sleeve, the bottom of the sleeve is open, so if you were to wear your heart on your sleeve, you're exposing your emotions to everyone, and are probably an emotional person.

LM answered Monday November 13 2006, 3:22 pm: Basically it means that they never hide their emotions. Their feelings are out for all the world to see. They don't have a "poker face" and you can always tell how they're feeling.
They're the complete opposite of someone who always has composure and never gives away the fact that they're stressed out or whatever.
