It basically means their emotions are out in the open, and not hidden like some people hide their emotions.

Get it?

Like, sleeve, the bottom of the sleeve is open, so if you were to wear your heart on your sleeve, you're exposing your emotions to everyone, and are probably an emotional person.

I hope I helped.

i've always heard that it means that you fall in love easily. that you give your heart away too simply.

but i could be wrong?

Basically it means that they never hide their emotions. Their feelings are out for all the world to see. They don't have a "poker face" and you can always tell how they're feeling.

They're the complete opposite of someone who always has composure and never gives away the fact that they're stressed out or whatever.

Or, if you're like a couple of my friends, you take a piece of red paper, make a heart, and tape it to your shirt. That's more of a literal translation though :)

It means you're very in touch & open with your feelings. Usually everyone can tell how you feel by looking at you. It's not bad, but not necessarily good either.

To 'wear your heart on your sleeve' is to show your feelings openly, to be easily read by others.

everyone would know your feelings/emotions.
