geegollyHOLLY answered Wednesday November 8 2006, 1:53 pm: try a solution called zapzyt and you can get it at like rite aid or hannaford. It's cheap, but it really works. I use it and i haven't had a problem with for a long time. good luck and hope i helped! [ geegollyHOLLY's advice column | Ask geegollyHOLLY A Question ]

if you don't want to try proactiv, then i'd suggest washing your face twice a day with a neutrogina face wash. i wouldn't suggest getting any kind of face washes with the word "scrub" in it because they really peel away at your skin. then at night, apply clean & clear persa-gel 10 [or any other benzoyl peroxide treatment] to problem areas on your face.
SoNuLiCiOuSsS answered Monday November 6 2006, 2:24 pm: using toner (NOT ASTRINGENT) after washing your face. Im not sure how proactive works. The best thing to do is go to a dermatologist and get prescription acne medication. [ SoNuLiCiOuSsS's advice column | Ask SoNuLiCiOuSsS A Question ]
Ahnee answered Monday November 6 2006, 12:45 pm: Yes proactiv does work, as long as you use it every day twice a day. if you stop using it for about a week your skin goes crazy. but it does work really well and pretty quick.
and by the way, don't use regular hand soap on your face for this, it'll just dry out your skin like crazy. [ Ahnee's advice column | Ask Ahnee A Question ]
WhiteDestiny09 answered Monday November 6 2006, 11:55 am: Proactive does work. My cousin has the same problem that you do, and proactive kept her face free for as long as she had it! I was rather impressed. But yeah, I would buy proactive. And also, wash your face once a day with soap. That might help to! [ WhiteDestiny09's advice column | Ask WhiteDestiny09 A Question ]
