Can you be a Christian and be bisexual?? Because I know a lot of people that go to church but they are bisexual. Personally it doesn't bother me but it bothers other people, so is it ok??
rawrimarobotxx answered Sunday November 5 2006, 6:41 pm: in the Christian religion, God doesn't really approve of homosexuals or bisexuals, but they can still go to church. it's not like they're banned from it just because of their sexuality. It really doesn't matter for the most part. [ rawrimarobotxx's advice column | Ask rawrimarobotxx A Question ]

Personally, through what i know and think it does NOT matter what religion you are. It is YOUR right to be what ever sexuality you want. like im catholic and they dont beleive in homosexuality but yah know what, even though the bible doesnt say jesus was gay, they never said anything about t he other deciples :P 11 guys always together? come on now lets be serious.
But yes it is perfectly okay with you beingchristian and bisexual. everyone just has a problem with it because they dont beleave people should be like that. they just need to face reality and realize the world isnt how they picture it :)

I'm not going to say whether bisexuality is a sin or not because there's no need to get into that. Even if it is, there is not a single Christian out there that is sin-free. Living a sin free life is impossible. The only person that ever lived without sin was Jesus.
Yeah, it's going to bother some people, that can't be helped. The open expression of bisexuality is relatively new in the world. Some people just aren't ready for that yet and feel that their religion is somehow threatened.
If those people bother you to the point of not being able to take it anymore, bring up their own sin. "Yeah that person over there might be bisexual, but what sins have you committed today? Maybe you'd be a better Christian if you admitted that you are a sinner too instead of focusing so much on others. You are no better than them in God's eyes." As true as that is and as shocking it would be to the person that you said it to, I'd just let it go if I were you. You could get into massive trouble for that.
If the people that are bisexual are having a hard time and don't feel accepted in the church anymore, you could talk to them and tell them how you feel. They would then know that someone is on their side which is always a good thing. Don't fight fire with fire. Instead, do good to your enemies. The results will be better. Good luck. :) [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]

a christian is not just someone who attends church...by bible definition...and my own/my pastors definition a christian is "a follower of christ" ... christ respected all and gave love to all therefore if you are a follower of christ no matter who you are if you love god and want to follow in jesus footsteps than you are christian [ wuncrazeekid06's advice column | Ask wuncrazeekid06 A Question ]
