I'm going through almost the same thing.

She probably still cares, but maybe she needs a break or something.

Some people have issuses where they get tired or the same person.

But I'm sure your friend still cares.

people grow apart, your interests have probably changed over the years. In my opinion there's no such thing as a friend, so your just gonna have to suck it up and get over it.

of course she still cares, why wouldn't she?
but most of the time, two people that have been friends for a really long time, tend to get tired of eachother more easily & maybe thats whats wrong with her? maybe she's just wanting to make some new friends, and thats probably what you should try & do also.
but still talk to her, and try to make as many plans with her as possible.
me & my best friend of 7-8 years get sick of eachother almost everyday, but somehow she & i still put up with one another, mainly because we miss eachother & feel weird without talking to one another and after a while your friend will start to miss you also.
i wish you the best of luck

a friend is someone that trusts and someone that can be trusted. ask her first about the problem or open a private conversation between you. listen first to her. in your part, be firm and everything will be alright.
