Hey, I'm having the same problem. There was one boy and I didnt tell her about him, and I didnt get to hang out with him much because my mom didnt know. So, definetly tell her. I think you should just go straight out and say, mom, guess what?> i have a boyfriend! thats probably what i would do to my mom, but it depends how your mom is, but no matter what you do, she will most likely respect your honesty and be happy for you. Hope i helped~ =)

If it feels wrong, then you'd know to tell her.
But mums can always tell if we have a bf or gf.
If you do get bf, introduce him - you're mum would soon get the idea

I would just tell your mother you have this guy friend named _____, and if it would be okay if you were to have him over to help study for a test, or have dinner, or just to hang out or whatever.

Then while he's over, you know he can introduce himself and everything and maybe that can have a little conversation and everything, and then whenever he goes home, just ask your mom what she thought of him. (Her:"I think he's a wonderful boy! :P ) And then just let him know that you like him more as a friend, and he likes you the same way, so you're hoping he asks you out.

Then the next day just run up to her all happy and be like,"He asked me out today!" And she'll be glad that for one, you had them meet so she got her own opinion on him before he even asked you out so she'll already be comfortable with him and trust him and you guys to hang out together and be together.

I hope I helped.

HopefulWishes answered Sunday October 22 2006, 11:45 am:
most people are exited when they get a boyfriend, so you could start off by being really happy, exited, etc. and if you mom asks why you are so happy that should me a good time to tell her. that would be a good way to walk right into it. or you could just tell her right off the bat, so right after you get a boyfriendyou coule go up to your mom and tell her be like "Oh my gosh mom guess what!" and she should ask you what then you tell her "i got a boyfriend!" thats usually how i tell my mother because im usually exited lol. good luck

Start off by telling her you have met a good friend and tell her his name. Say that you really like him. Ask if he can come over to study/have dinner/listen to music sometime.

All mothers want for their children is for them to be happy and safe. As long as you can assure her that he will look after you if you go out, then there shouldn't be any problems. Always respect any rules that are laid down and stick to time limits. Show her that you are reliable and responsible and you won't go far wrong.

Good luck.
