im in eighth grade and i and my best friend decided to cheerlead. Cheerleading is starting in 2 days and i am so worried now. I have absolutely no idea how to do a cartwheel. I found some directions on google..but i'm still not being able to do it. I can't do the splits...not anything. I dont have to try out for cheerleading, but they have a, b and c teams. (a team is best, c the worst) It would be so humiliating to have to cheer for the c team.
I am looking for advice on how to improve my flexiblility, do a cartwheel and do the splits. Thanks for anyone who tries to help...i rate!

You want to be in a place where there is alot of room. The first thing is to have confidence. If you believe and make you body think you can do this then you will. Just start running and put both hands on the ground, keep you legs straight, and make sure you legs are the first to land on the ground. Don't move your hands at all. First you start out streaching of coarse but then you practice standing on your hands and flipping.
