This may be an weird question but since I can't sing very well I was wondering if when a person is good at singing is it because they are just born that way and can sing to anything or whether you can only sing to songs your voice is suited to. I wanna be able to sing so badly but I'm not that crash hot so I was just wondering if there is any hope for me?! 16/f

However, even if you are born without any sort of ability, it can be learned to a certain extent. It's tricky. [ schlichtinator's advice column | Ask schlichtinator A Question ]
J_P answered Saturday September 30 2006, 11:03 am: i had that same problem, i was singing since i was about 4. now i wasen't the best, but when i got older and going through changes my voice changed and i had problems with my singing, but all you have to do is practice and do some voice exercises to get your voice in it's right place. so good luck with your singing, and i bet your a beautiful singer, just believe in your self and you can do it.
