Question Posted Thursday September 28 2006, 11:59 pm

OK, I wasn't exactly sure where to put this, but, I just have a quick question. I work in food service, so, I have to have my hair up the whole time. Well, tomorrow I have somewhere to go right after work, so, I will basically be doing the "quick pick me upper" thing in the bathroom before I get off. I was just wandering, how can I get rid of my pony tail bump fast before I even leave work? It is a hugh bump that I can't just brush down. Any ideas? Thanks.

Ok, wet the bump and if there is a hand dryer , dry your hair underneath there!Genius or what?
or bring a hairdryer if there isnt a hand dryer!

Just don`t tie your hair hard. Make sure it`s not too loose that it falls off, but just don`t make it tight, that won`t make a bump.

Don't tie your hair too tightly.

Do you wear a cap at work? Maybe you could bun your hair into your cap.

when you put your hair up dont put it back tight. put the ponytail in so its not sufficating your hair..that way it will be loose around the hair and wont let it cause that bump.after that brush it and put spray or sterum in it that will help relax is. hope ihelped

If you put a braid in instead you will get waves instead of a bump.

If you or someone who will be there knows how to french braid, that will also be nice but hide the bump. :)
