isis answered Friday September 29 2006, 9:30 am: Try massaging the knuckles below your nails on your thumbs, forefingers and middle fingers in a circular motion, if you find a tender spot concentrate on that for a little while then move on to the next finger.
If the headache is on the top of your head massage in the same way on the tops of your thumbs right behind your nails, the opposite thumb to the side of the head in pain is the one to rub here. Works wonders for me. It's reflexology points that anyone can use.

FrEe2bMe answered Thursday September 28 2006, 11:25 pm: The best thing to do when you have a headache and don't really want to take any at home medications, take a heating pad of some sorts (you know, the kind filled with rice or beans that you can microwave) or even a wash cloth and let the water get extremely hot. I also heard that if you rub between your index finger and thumb that will get rid of it too. And lastly i heard that if you drink lots of water that should help as well. Water is great for tons of things. Its just that taste. :
