Hey you guys I'm a 14 year old female.
Now, I know that hormones can cause some teenagers to masturbate, and that it's healthy and releases sexual tension. But I'm not totally convinced, and I'm afraid its wrong. I'm also afraid that I'm backstabbing my mom by not telling her whats going on. She knows I've gotten my hormones, because I told her one night at 3 in the monring because I couldn't sleep. I know I shouldn't be telling my mom about this stuff, but I feel so ashamed. I masturbate about twice a day. What should I do?

Masterbation is completely fine. You're not backstabbing your mom because masterbation is a personal thing. And you shouldn't feel ashamed. In fact, just about everyone does it whether they'd like to admit it or not, so there is nothing to worry about.

you shouldn't feel ashamed to be materbating, because y`r not keeping anything from y`r mom,
theres somethings that you shouldn't keep from y`r mom and there others that should be kept from her.

you're right. it releases a lot of tension and stress, so why worry? you really don't need to be upset over this. i've answered similar questions at least 50 some times; and everytime i say the same thing. [IT IS OK TO MASTURBATE!!].
i promise, you aren't hurting anyone. i don't think it's wrong. i'm not a big christian and i'm not trying to start some big controversey or anything so don't quote me on this, but doesn't God say that your body is your temple...or something along those lines? if He did, then shouldn't we be able to do what we like to our bodies, including touching it? i think so.
but honestly though, considering masturbation as right or wrong will always be a problem among society. mainly because a lot of christians thinks that it's wrong, while a lot of scientists think it's good for you. so who knows? it's really just about what you want. this is an opinionated question, so keep in mind all answers are going to be opinionated also, so don't take any answer as right or wrong, ok?
masturbating 2 a day isn't bad, as long as it doesn't take over your life. if you think about wanting to do it 24/7, that's not good. you can do it, but don't let it control you.
also, you aren't deceiving your mom. masturbation is a private matter that needs to be kept private. i'm closer to my mom than anyone else in this world. i trust her more than my diary! but i don't talk to her about masturbation, and i honestly think she appreciates that, lol.

It's heathly and it's not hurting you. I don't see how you would think it's wrong. Most teenagers do it.
It's best not to tell your mom about it. Because things may get awkward and I dont think she wants to know. I bet she knows you would do it sooner or later but she doesnt want to hear it from you.
Don't feel ashamed, it happens to everyone.
It's just something you keep to yourself. It's not hurting you and every other person has done it. So they understand what you're going through.
If you need to talk to someone about it, maybe a really close friend, a doctor or someone on advicenators.
