ok so i have homecoming in 2 weeks and i was wondering what would clear up current and help prevent zits for the next two weeks. thank you very much. i wash my face twice daily and i dont have that much money. i can feel one coming just below my nose. what can i do to get rid of it fast. it hurts really bad.
duudee_advicer answered Tuesday September 19 2006, 7:55 pm: Heres what I do:
Wash your face, ONCE a day. At night, wash your face with a cleanser (be sure it'll remove ANY makeup from the day) then use a scrub (ex: Clean and Clear blackhead scrub) then finish off with a toner.
In the morning, just rinse your face with hot water, then rinse it again with very cold water. This way you do not aggrivate your pores with scrubbing and you won't get any surprise zits during the day.
Also, dab a mixture of baking soda and water (It should be sorta paste-y) on problem zits at night, then rinse off in the morning.

i hate that.
The best thing you can do is use Benzoyl peroxide.
Usually a dermatologist has to prescribe it, but fortunately they sell some over the counter acne medications with benzoyl peroxide. So look for products with that in it at the drug store. Another thing you should make sure you do is keep your hair clean , because sometimes dirt builds up and goes to your face and you might not even know it!
One last suggestion i have is usuing Oil absorbing pads, they are about 3.99-4.99 at drug stores in the brand of Clean and Clear, they work great to remove excess oils from the face with cause acne to occur.
Hope I was a help!
p.s. If you feel one coming now, use a heat activated mask or some type of facial mask and use ice to reduce the redness.
