Doesn't make sense, right? Here are the answers.
1 The translation doesn't make sense <- i don't speak spanish but usually when i try to use it for french it doesn't do feminine/masculine and it doesn't do verbs right.
For 2, find a sentence that doesn't make sense.
3. No, because it translates each individual word so verbs aren't conjugated and it's not in context.
4. It's cheating, it doesn't do verbs, the teacher usually can tell, spanish dictionaries are easier, it's not accurate.

Hey there! I'm a third year high school Spanish student, and without reading your translation i can give you numerous reasons not to use an online translator.
1. You don't learn anything. If you rely on a translator, trust me, you will NEVER learn the language. Our Spanish 1 teacher let us rely on translators, and when we got a new teacher for Spanish 2, we were so far behind we had to start from the beginning WITHOUT the translating.
2. Try translating that back into English. It doesn't work out. You get something similiar, but yet different. The two languages are different. In English we have verbs that can be used as many different things. For example- when describing someone or something, you can use the word "is" to descibe what they look like, or where they're at. In spanish the sentence "She is tall" would be Ella es alta. and the sentence "She is at school" would be "Ella esta en la escuela." Two different verbs to describe what one verb does in English.
3. The translation you have doesn't look very effective. I found 2 or 3 noticeable mistakes. When you said "I have to run now" The way it is translated literally means you have to run. It's just an expression in English, but it doesn't translate correctly into Spanish.
4. Reasons I wouldn't use a translator for homework help, I just told you. It's not correct or effective for learning the language and the languages don't translate back and forth to the same meanings.

i'm not fluent in spanish or anything, but i do see a few problems in the translation. spanish translators sometimes don't work as well because spanish and english are a little different in the rules. for example, there are a lot of words in english that mean the same thing for a lot of different things (cool can mean "awesome" or "cold") but in spanish there are separate words for them. also, in spanish you have to consider who you're talking to when you ask them "how are you?" and the translator put in the version of "how are you?" that you would say in a formal/respectful way to a teacher or adult. if you really want to see how screwed up this can be, put the spanish text into the translator and see how it translates to english. a translation site isn't a good tool to learn a new language because you can learn the words, but you won't know how to use them properly. in spanish, telling time for example, you have to know how exactly to tell time because that's a pretty funky subject. hope i helped.
