Kids and Medical

Question Posted Thursday September 7 2006, 2:30 pm

a) I stil have a ways to go and I wouldn't consider myself to young to look for college but i do know that i would like to do something in the medical field and if possible that has to do with kids. Like a pediatrician for example. If you any idea's of colleges like you could help me find a good college in the upper midwest that'd be helpful, also any careers you can think of that has to do with kids, and in a medical field.

b) Whats the difference between a university and college?

Thanks so much!

I know Northwestern in Evanston, IL and University of IL in Chicago are GREAT to major in pre-med and they offer medical schools that you can apply to right after graduation. Northwestern is pricy but University of IL is VERY reasonable with a great reputation!

The difference between a college and a university is that a college just offers a collection of degrees in one specific area, while a university is a collection of colleges. When you go to a university you are going to be graduating from one of their colleges, such as the business college.

^^maybe the site above will help yu find the answer to B.

For the answer to A, Medical College of Wisconsin is one i could find with pediatrics.

There are many hospitals in the midwest that are children's hospital. They only treat kids and, from what I hear, pay well and treat their staff nicely.

Hope I helped<33EAS
