"I Write Sins Not Tragedies" by Panic! At the Disco
Question Posted Monday September 4 2006, 4:28 pm
Okay so this is definitely not an advice question but really an opinionative one. Sorry. Anyway, do you think that in the song "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" by Panic! At the Disco that the lead singer is the groom or a guest or what? Thanks.
XxSeetherxAddictxX answered Monday September 4 2006, 7:00 pm: they said it themselves that the singer was the groom's conscience thing. That the groom overheard the bridesmaid and the waiter talking and he's like "I'd chime in with a Haven't you people ever heard of closing the god damn door?" and the other line, "No, it's much better to fix these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality," is calming him down. It's a confusing thing, really, but they helped a lot in the thing I watched, but I'm too lazy to put the link on here :P [ XxSeetherxAddictxX's advice column | Ask XxSeetherxAddictxX A Question ]
adviice_whore answered Monday September 4 2006, 6:57 pm: i agree with the people below me i think he was just telling what he saw. im almost positive hes not the groom because in the line "what a shame the poor grooms bride is a whore" if he was the groom he would say "what a shame my bride is a whore" so i think he just was there and witnessed it [ adviice_whore's advice column | Ask adviice_whore A Question ]

Then she left and started making out with another guy. So I think the leadsinger is telling how the bride cheated on the groom. [ twistedteen25's advice column | Ask twistedteen25 A Question ]
