You don't have to be shaved. That's a bunch of shit. I don't know who told you that, but it isn't true. If you love your boyfriend and you know he loves you also, why bother with shaving at all? If he loves you he won't care.

I've answered this same question about 100 hundred times, so i'm not going to repeat it again. If you really want to know the correct way to shave, and i'm talking the preparation to the after care, then search my column and find the answer.

I wouldn't recommend shaving your vagina. It's not at all necessary for sex. Though some men find a shaven vagina attractive, I don't think the trade-off is worth it, as shaving would be very painful and you could risk hurting yourself. If you're convinced you need less hair down there, here are two other options:

1. You could get a bikini wax. You can have them done at salons or you could give yourself one. They're expensive at salons and they hurt too but it's better than shaving.

2. You could buy a trimmer. I have one for my underarms. It's a little motorized thing that cuts the hair very short, only a few millimeters in length, but doesn't quite shave it. I did try it on my pubic area once or twice and it didn't hurt, it just tickled. I think you get a trimmer at a pharmacy -- not sure, as my boyfriend bought me mine.

I agree with sassysara about shaving being a personal choice. Don't do it unless you really want to and not because you think you should.

Could I add on a cautionary note, please use double protection when embarking on a sexual relationship. A condom will protect you from diseases and pregnancy and if used in conjunction with the pill then you should be doubly protected against pregnancy. All the best.

First off shaving is a personal choice especially when it concerns the genital area. Shaving your vagina can be painful leaving razor burn and it itches like hell when it grows back. What is recommended is trimming, using sissors just trim so that its not like a bush!

The only thing women should shave and even then many women don't is their legs and arm pits.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask me.
