How long does it take for birth control to become effective so that a condom is unnecessary?

a condom should always be used to protect both people from STD during intercours!

and most pills take up to a few months to work.

You should stil use a condom just in case your birth control doesn't work (you can never be too careful).

Plus condoms protect you from STDs so... yea. Use both for the best protection.

You should always wear a condom though. Birth control isn't all that effective.

My aunt was on it and she got pregnant.
Unless you want a slight chance of getting pregnant.
