i hate my body..i play soccer and lacrosse and i like to run.. but all i see is fat. sometimes when i eat i'll make myself purge. i don't want to do it before i do it but after i feel so much better like i've accomplished something. i always count my calories....i don't purge every day.. sometimes it's only once a week or once every few weeks. but sometimes i'll do it more than once a week...am i bulimic? is this serious? do i need help?
maybe if you feel comfortable enough with your mom you could talk to her about it, or maybe a guidance counsler. if you cant deal with it from talking to them then see a doctor. it sounds like this could get serious.

ilovecali answered Wednesday August 30 2006, 7:37 pm: ok sweety that is the begginigs of a eating disorder...i would know because i was anorexic for 2 years and had to be hospitalized for about a month and i met alot of bulimic/anorexic patients. People dont ask for eating disorders they sneak up on you..it can start by being really depressed, a obsseion with working out, on a diet and cut back too much etc. and sweety you sound sthletic so i dont want to ruin your perfect heath because eating disorders corrupt your life..Purging is very unhealthy and it ruins the lining of your stomach and it ruins your teeth since the acids from your stomach rot your teeth and you can seriously do permanent damage to your body...you should gte perfressional help like a counsler or talk to friends before this can blow up into a bigger thing..if you feel you are overweight you can maintain weight or gain muscle and be toned..but im sure your a beautiful person and dont let and eating disorder corrupt your life because if it gets serious it will control your life it did mine and it was horrible...just be sure to eat your 3 meals a day and work out and keep healthy by working out...eventhough you may love the control of deciding what you eat its not worth it in the end...be confident if you learn to love your body then guys will flock to you there is nothng sexier than a confident girl...if you have any questions at all reguarding eating disorders im your girl<3

lyssiex3x answered Wednesday August 30 2006, 7:34 pm: Well first, stop making yourself "purge". Your body needs the calories and vitamins. DRINK TONS AND TONS OF WATER!. constantly all day drink water. itll help flow out your system. Second, eat a good breakfast, a small lunch, and an average dinner. Eat healthy, dont gorge. But remember to drink lots of water. Oh and salads for lunch are great! [ lyssiex3x's advice column | Ask lyssiex3x A Question ]
Charade answered Wednesday August 30 2006, 7:14 pm: I believe you do need a bit of help, maybe a trip to the doctor to see if this is a medical problem or not. Maybe you just need the support of a few of your good friends too help you out, but you should make plans to see if this is serious and catch it before anything happens. girlmeetsboy answered Wednesday August 30 2006, 7:10 pm: i guess you are kind of bulimic because you are throwing up on purpose to lose weight. in this case of bulimic.. it isnt that serious but it is a problem which you need to figure out.
also you should really be comfortable in your body and look at the best of things. if you want to lose some weight eat healthy and lay of the junk food or any trans fat. my mom is a pilates teacher and doing pilates helps ALOT.
