Britney Spears
Heres the deal, I'm obbsessed with britney spears. i have all of her posters, 2 pepsi lifesize cardboard cutout things, shirts a ton of picturs. every magazine shes ever been on, even when she was really young. i also have 33 of her cds( including remixes and stuff off of ebay). I even have something of hers that she was selling off of ebay to raise money for Katrina victims. well here is the problem. only about 5 people know. i never have friends over because i like briney so much cause everyone thinks she is fake and sluty and stuff. i want to tell people but i know that they would make fun of me and stuff. i'm not lesbiean or anything, i just like britney a lot. i'm in middle school so you know that people would make fun of me cause thats how middle school is. i don't care about what people think but i don't want everyone talking about me and my obbsessian about her. just think about what rumors could start. help me please!!! what should i do???!!!thanks guys.

Personally, I don't know why you like her so much. She is fake, and she lies about everything she does and blames other people. Plus she's very selfish and shallow and I could go on for days. You're still young and maybe that's why you don't understand that she's no one to obsess over. My first advice to you is for you to reflect on why you choose your idols. But to answer your actual question, just everyone everyone has something that they think other people will make fun of. Just tell people that you like her a lot, they shouldn't care too much. But beware that they will have their own opinion on her and whatever you do, don't be one of those fans who hate anyone else that doesn't like her. She's got a very bad reputation and most people really don't like her, so you should be ready to hear them out too.

If they're you're friends, they shouldn't care if you like her, I mean, they might not, but that's their opinion and they should keep it to themselves. I don't think it'll spread all around school and you'll get totally made fun of for it. I'm sure people'll just find it a little strange, and if it DID spread, just go around whenever people come up to it, and be like,"So what? I like Britney Spears. You don't, that's your opinion." And plus, have you ever seen then show "I Want My Own ____"? They take you inside their rooms and they're rooms are covered wall to wall with posters of their favorite celebrity, they know everything about them, they have a pillow with their picture on it, they're just as obsessed too. So it's not like you're alone. And plus, you're a teenager. It's perfectly normal to have posters of celebrities and stuff all over your walls. But maybe try having a way to put some of the stuff away whenever you have friends over. Like the cardboard pepsi things. Maybe you could put them inside your closet and whatever it is you got on ebay, maybe just set it somewhere on a table or something. For the CD's, if they're not on a stack, just put them in a box and keep them under you bed or somehwere. And plus, I'm sure your friends aren't going to be staring at your CD's or anything. But like I said, nobody should care and if they make a big deal of it, they're weird. I hope I helped. <3

If they are your friends they won't care much. They may tease you a little but I doubt they will start rumors. If it really bothers you then you could always just keep a few things out in the open that you can put away quickly when they come over, or leave just a few things around to see how they react. Just add a little more every time they stop by.
Its normal for teen girls to have their rooms plastered with posters and stuff. I had wall to wall David Cassidy posters when I was a teen. I even took them all down when we had tornado watches in case I needed to take them to the cellar with me! I was obsessed!
ygsgirl had Eminem and Vin Diesel to name a couple. It is normal.
Though most girls hang guy pictures its true, there is nothing wrong with liking Britney Spears. :)

What the hell is wrong with liking britney?You can like whoever you like and dont be afraid of telling anyone that you do.If they make fun of you its only because they think that THEY have tastes and want to look cool among their freinds.Tell them if they ask and if they make fun of you tell them that(with a smiile)that you can like whoever you want and to make fun of you all they want,its not going to stop you from liking her.

well no one has the right to make fun of you because of this,all though we both know that doesnt matter because they still will maybe you could tone down your collection a bit throw out some stuff you know like its cool you like her and stuff but you dont need All the stuff and make a rule that you cant get anymore stuff invite your friends over still britney shouldnt get in the way of your life i ma sure thats not what she would want as you grow older the obession will die down dont worry maybe you dont advertise your obssesion but dont hide it either you know i hope it every thing goes ok
