Have have think brown hair, and when i straighten it and go outside ((anywhere even if it is low humidity)) it frizzes up and goes curly. Is there something i can use so it doesn't get this way?
If that's too pricey, try using any Matrix sleek frizz-free products before you blowdry/airdry your hair. Using both of the above products actually works wonders.
Make sure your hair is completely dry before straightening & try using a medium heat setting so you don't fry or dry out your hair. [ hannahd's advice column | Ask hannahd A Question ]

Put a smoothing or straightening creme in your hair just before you straighten (I've had great results with Herbal Essences and L'Oreal).
Use a really good straightener that gets super-hot. Othewise, you go over the same spot 9278798475 times and, well, you dont want that!
Lastly, put a good amount of hairspray in your hair before you go outside. It'll "seal" the hair from humidity/moisture and also hold the shape. [ LM's advice column | Ask LM A Question ]
