Carlwheels

Question Posted Friday August 25 2006, 10:50 am

Ok well school is about to start and of course there are gonna be cheerleading tryouts. I`m perfect for cheerleading but there is a little problem. I don`t know how to do cartwheels at all! I know I`m not gonna pass the tryouts unless I know how to do some moves with cartwheels in them.

Well, what I`m asking is does anyone know any tricks to help me keep my balance and help me do a cartwheel. A site with some techniques will be great. Thanks

Spread your legs out at least 2 feet apart. Raise your arms like you are an x.
With your left arm and bring it to the ground and swing your legs in that way and while your left hand on the ground, set your right and you should be able to do it. If my instructions are difficult to understand, e-mail me.
Here are some sites.

I found some sites that show how to do a cartwheel ((the first one has an animated picture that helps alot!))
its really not that hard. you dont even know your upside-down for a split second.
First you might want to practice on a foam spongy type of floor. then start on carpet, then grass, then once you've mastered you can do cartwheels on the road.

I hope I helped!
