I swim too I know how boring it can be personally I like I'm not going to lie. Swimming is a very very difficult sport because it uses every single muscle in your body I understand where that is coming from. If you do not want to pursue going to varsity swimming maybe you could just talk to your parents and see what they say about the whole varsity swimming thing. Ask them if they will be mad if you quit or just simply talk to them about it and see what they have to say if you do that or need any more help ask me a question or u could im me at shad0winthedark7 on aim

p.s. I am a guy..

Sometimes I think it's really boring and hard too but I'm keeping with it and I think it's the best thing to do because it keeps me healthy and I love it like 75% of the time (haha). So think through it really well before you make any other decisions. Also realize that swimming gets harder in high school and will get better as you get more used to it. Good luck!

i really regreting quiting swimming. I look back on it now and thought it was really stupid of me. I swam for 5 years then quit once middleschool/highschool swimming started. What i recomend is stick with it. Although you may really hate it at times hs swimming is much more fun than rec or whatever and you could get a college scolarship out of it and make your future a whole lot easier. if you are confused stick with it until you know 100% for sure so you have no regrets

Same thing happened to me!! I was on a swim team and i wasn't enjoying it...so I quit...sometimes i regret it, and other times i dont.

So if you want to quit, quit. There are so many things out there that you could try! If it turns out that you miss swimming to much, im pretty sure you can always join again another season. my parents eventually agreed that if i wasn't enjoying it that was ok, i'm pretty sure yours will agree too. =)

I hope that helped!
