how to send a text message
How do you send a text message? I know how to get into the create text message thing. But when I have to type who I'm sending it to I don't know whether you type in the persons number that you're sending to or do you type there name? And do you type in the area code??? Help!!!

just put the phone number the persons in your contacts you can go to his/her name and right clik and there should be send txt.

yes you do the the persons number WITH the area code

you type their ENTIRE phone number like
(123)-456-7890
anyways, sometimes it says choose contact, and you can go to your contact list

Normally, when you go to text a message to someone a screen pops up that says to put the number in. You have to put their number along with the area code. Once you're done that, another screen should pop up that says 'type message here.' When you're done, just click on send and it should work. ♥

Normally you would enter in their number. If it's a local number, you don't have to put an area code. Just type the number (i.e. 2940592) If it's a long-distance number, put an area code (i.e. 15132940592)
However, when you make local calls if your service provider makes you enter an area code, you'll need to do this for text messages as well.
