I'm going to a new school this year she I don't have a lot of friends. There's a guy that talks to me, whose name is Alex. He has been nice to me unlike anyone else and he's fun. I think he's wanting to take things past friendship, but i'm not sure if he's a good person to get involved with. He's (from what he's said) probably not a virgin and he cusses a lot. I'm a Christian. Is he just going to drag me down? Should I even continue our frienship? I'm afraid of being all alone again without any friends. I'm not good at starting conversations or getting to know people. (link)

I personally take that verse to me that we shouldn't date/marry people people who are non-Christians. And that's not saying you can't be their friend, though. It's like this...we are to be IN this world, but not of it.

Again - I'm not saying don't be friends with them because I say go for it. But as far as a more deep relationship, I'd say hold off on that for now. Maybe witness to him, see what his views on Christ are. But most importantly...pray about it.

My two best friends just recently started drinking over the summer. I have been away and just found out about this recently. I however, dont want to start drinking they are, I think it is pretty pointless and I dont need alcohol to have a good time. I KNOW that I am able to say no if I am put into a pressuring situation by them, but I am afraid our friendship isnt the same anymore. The only way to do this would be to save the picture on your computer then upload it as your own.
In Internet Explorer, right click on the photo, then select the 'Save Picture As...' option.
If you want the picture to show up in YOUR album on your page, along with your friend's page, you'll need to do this.

Where can you get funky iPod cases for less than $20?

How do you send a text message? I know how to get into the create text message thing. But when I have to type who I'm sending it to I don't know whether you type in the persons number that you're sending to or do you type there name? And do you type in the area code??? Help!!! (link)

Normally you would enter in their number. If it's a local number, you don't have to put an area code. Just type the number (i.e. 2940592) If it's a long-distance number, put an area code (i.e. 15132940592)
However, when you make local calls if your service provider makes you enter an area code, you'll need to do this for text messages as well.

i wish i would have more friends...all the so-called popular people at my school make me feel so retarded! they talk to me and stuff but i never hangout with them- i DONT want to be like them... i mean im not a geek at all but im not someone you would call popular. im a prep. i have my few close "girl" friends. not many guy friends i dont know why? but i feel like such a loser when all these people go out and hangout every single day but the stupid thing is they have to drink or get high to have fun which is stupid to me and thats why i dont care about hanging out with them. but everyone is out partying and hanging out -even the people who dont do drugs and stuff and im just sittin at home with my mom and on the computer! i never know what to do. i dont have many friends i can call. im not able to join a club or a sport (dont ask why). i am getting a job soon and school is starting up in a couple weeks. for some reason im getting really depressed over this..ive never had a boyfriend but most people tell me im so gorgeous or hott or beautiful and sometimes i believe them but i just dont know whats wrong with me!!
any suggestions to turn my life around? and just have more fun. my brother is 19 and he even makes fun of me and says im a loser and have no friends and just sit at home and i know its true and i hate hearing about it. (link)

So your brother calls you a loser, makes fun of you, and you agree that it's true? Don't tear yourself down like that because it's not true.
Let me start off by saying this - if all the kids are high, drunk, and always partying, you don't want to be a part of that and I know you realize that. You don't want to be their friend because that stuff will just tear you down and in my opinion having a few friends is much greater than having that kind of friend.
Your morals seem to be on the high side - do you go to church? If so, get more involved there...maybe in the youth group or something similar. I'm sure there are people there who are just like you and would love to be your friend. Just go up and talk to people there...introduce yourself. Or talk to your youth minister and tell them you don't know anybody and would like to be introduced to some of the other people...that will work, I promise! :)
You're not a loser, so don't say you are. I hope you get some more friends soon. In your title you said you had to friends. Guess what?!? You've got at least 1 now....ME! Hey im 15/f and im moving to a new school. My best friend i like devistated and she cries everyday because she doesn't want me to move.. even though its only a half hour away. Does anybody know any songs that sorta fit this situation. And my other question was im writing this speech for her before school starts. Not like this huge big speech just one saying that i'll miss her terribly, but we have AIM so its not like no communication. But she basically "confessed" her friendship to me so i wanna do the same for her but i dont know where to start.. Please help any advice is accepted! Thanks alot

Ashley, as for a song, I'm not sure. What about 'Friends' by Michael W. Smith? If you're only moving 30 minutes away, assure her that you'll still see each other because most likely you will. If you drive halfway and she drives halfway, you'll see each other in ~15 minutes. That's not too bad. And even 30 minutes isn't that too far of a drive if you think about it!
As for your speech, I can't tell you what to write but here is something for you to think about. WHY is she your best friend? WHY are you going to miss her? What are you going to miss about her? Let her know how much you love her and why you love her.
I hope that gets you started on something!

my brother keeeps on going on safe mode like its a normal thing to do. he goes on every single time when he goes on the computer and he goes on for like 5 times a day for at least an hour. i always tell him that safe mode is for fixing the computer and he always goes on it to play games ..he says the normal mode doesnt let him play it cause it doesnt have something. but its starting to piss me off because now our computer is very messed up and safe mode is the only way to fix it.. how can i encourage him not to go on safemode? I don't know how you can encourage him not to use safe mode, but I highly doubt that he goes into safe mode to play games. When you load your computer up in safe mode it boots with a very minimal set of drivers, and like you said, it's used to fix and diagnose problems. He probably wouldn't be able to play his games in safe mode.
Why isn't he playing his games in regular mode? It would work just fine...maybe you need to show him that it is possible...

i sign on to aim on my phone, but now, i dont know how to sign off. if i turn my phone off or take out the battery and put it back in, im still on. i tried looking on aim.com but couldnt find anything. anyone know how to sign off? i have a samsung N-330[alletl] if thats any help. thanks (link)

Load up AIM on your phone, then push the 'Select' button on your screen. Scroll down the list and the last thing there should be 'Sign Off'...select that option and that should do the trick!
EDIT: Or - if you're not logged into the AIM program on your phone, go to http://mymobile.aol.com/portal/index.html and check out the 'IM Forwarding' feature. You need to disable that.
